University Baptist Church strongly believes in the importance of missions and does missions work in a variety of ways, reaching beyond our own walls to share the gospel with others in our community, city, state, country, and the entire world. A description of each of the mission efforts which UBC supports through special missions offerings is presented in these web pages. You have the opportunity to give to support to these missions efforts. Special missions envelopes will be available in the back of the church. In giving to these missions efforts, you may either designate on the envelope the specific missions endeavors you wish to support, or you may simply give an unspecified total offering that then will go to support all of the missions efforts. The UBC membership has approved the allocation of undesignated special missions offerings as follows:

• Lottie Moon Christmas Offering - A Southern Baptist Convention offering for international missions.
• Annie Armstrong Easter Offering - A Southern Baptist Convention offering for North American missions.

In addition to the special missions offering, 10 percent of our regular budget offerings go to support missions in and beyond the Bay Area. Through the UBC budget, we give to the Tampa Bay Baptist Association (TBBA), the Florida Baptist Convention (FBC), and local UBC missions and ministries. TBBA is an association of Baptist churches working cooperatively in Tampa Bay area. FBC is the state convention of Baptist churches in Florida.
