Pastor Don Grantham serves Co-Pastor of University Baptist Church. Prior to 2025, he has served as Senior Pastor since October 1984. In addition to his 40 plus years of Pastoral ministry, he has served in various roles within the community: University Area Community Development Corporation, Board of Directors; 2nd Vice President of the University Area Community Civic Association; Federal Weed and Seed Initiative, Steering Committee; Tampa Urban Young Life, Board of Directors; International Muslim Outreach, Board of Directors; Tampa Bay Christian Academy, Board of Directors; Moderator, Tampa Bay Baptist Association. He also enjoyed and has great memories coaching basketball for both boys’ and girl’s teams at Tampa Bay Christian Academy.

Pastor Don earned his BA in Biblical Studies at Trinity College of Florida; MA at Tampa Bay Theological Seminary (later to be Dallas Theological Seminary). In addition, he has done undergraduate work at Hillsborough Community College (AA) and the University of South Florida. Above all, he is devoted to preaching, teaching and discipling. His favorite book, outside the Bible, is Pilgrim’s Progress. Enjoys reading and family time.

Pastor Don is married to Selma Diaz Grantham, 1980. Three children, Jason Grantham, Dr. David Grantham (Sara), Texas, and Danielle Rios (Brendan), Massachusetts. Blessed with 3 grandchildren, Jude, Aubren, and Eden. He is a United States Army veteran; a native Floridian and raised in north Tampa.
